Carol Vorderman, 62, Says She Has Five Male Partners
Carol Vorderman has said that she has five male partners.
Vorderman, 62, is best known for co-hosting the popular daytime TV show Countdown from 1982 to 2008.
The ex-Loose Women panellist has been married twice, having tied the knot to Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986, while also having married Patrick King from 1990 to 2000 – with the pair sharing two children.
Vorderman is incredibly candid when it comes to her love life, having previously said that she has multiple romantic partners.
However, she’s now opened up even further, revealing that she actually has five male partners in total.

Vorderman appeared on the Rule Breakers podcast, which is hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, and discussed the ‘system’ she’s had in place for the last 10 years.
When Visage asks her whether she’s in a relationship, the TV personality responds: “No! I’m having the best time. I’ve spoken about this once.
“I have a system which I’ve had for 10 years. They’re called ‘special friends’.
“I spoke a couple of months ago about having ‘special friends’ and it was like, again, the world had fallen in for some people but actually what I found was there was an awful lot of women who said ‘I’d never thought about it like this’.”

Vorderman goes on to say that she’s had some of her ‘special friends’ around for a long time.
She continues: “One’s 11 years, one’s seven years, you know everyone is single. It’s a happy place. I hasten to add I’m not into one-night stands.
“The language around a woman of my generation is that if you had more than one partner when you got married you were this you were that.
“Everything was derogatory about a woman, that was the environment I was growing up in. It was like ‘she’s desperate’, everything was judgmental.
“Well you can take all that and you can throw it out the window, that’s my polite way of saying it.
“This whole assumption: ‘Have you got a partner yet? Have you got a man?’ Well, no actually I’ve got five.”
This prompts Visage to call the former Countdown star a ‘legend’.
Previously, Vorderman appeared on This Morning and said that she had ‘never felt freer’ since having multiple partners.
The Pride of Britain host explained: “Our mothers told us that we should marry when we were still 18 or 19 or 20, so we grew up with that convention that you should find one partner for life.
“My view is not quite like that.
“Half of the first marriages end in divorce, and nearly three-quarters of second marriages end in divorce.
“So I prefer to live my life in chapters.”

She continued: “So I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called ‘special friends’.”
Vorderman went on to clarify that she does not plan on getting married again since she doesn’t want to ‘look at him all the time’.
When asked by the presenters if her five partners know each other, Vorderman responded no, but admitted that they are all ‘aware of the situation’.
