Amber Heard has finally addressed the infamous ‘poop incident’

The actress appeared in court on May 16 and addressed her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, and his allegations that she ‘defecated on their marital bed’.

Referring to the claims that it was a ‘horrible practical joke gone wrong,’ she alleged: “First of all, I don’t think that’s funny. I was not, also, in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart.”

She went on to testify that the former couple’s Yorkshire terrier, Boo, had lifelong ‘bowel control issues’ after allegedly ‘finishing a bag of Depp’s weed as a puppy’.

Explaining what was happening around the time, Heard claimed: “I had just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my violent husband, with whom I was desperately in love and knew I needed to leave.

“It was not really a jovial time, and I don’t think that’s funny, period.

“That’s disgusting.”

Elsewhere in the case, Heard claimed that the Pirates of the Caribbean star became ‘obsessed’ with the incident and his alleged version of events.

When referencing the end of their relationship, she alleged: “We didn’t discuss divorce. He was obsessed with dog poop.”

Earlier on in the trial, Depp told the jury how he reacted to being shown a photo of the faeces on his bed.

He admitted: “My initial response to that was, I laughed. It was so outside, it was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”

Depp went on to claim that Heard blamed it on their dog, saying: “They’re teacup Yorkies. They weigh about four pounds each.

“I lived with those dogs. I picked up their funk. It was not the dogs.”
