B&M has sent After Eight fans wild by announcing they will now be stocking Strawberry and Mint After Eight for the bargain price of £1.99.
B&M has been making sure to provide us with plenty of sweet tooth treats throughout lockdown, after recently announcing Cadbury Dream bars which you usually have to get exported, are now available to purchase in the discount store chain. Yet they’ve made chocolate lovers go wild once again by announcing the latest chocolate launch, in the form of After Eight.
Originally spotted on Facebook page Snack Reviews, the new flavour of After Eight will be sold at B&M for just £1.99 for a 200g box.
Since being posted, the post has naturally pleased many and has had over 165 likes, 115 comments and 167 shares. After all, it’s essentially a non-alcoholic chocolate form of Pimms?
Traditionally, After Eight is known for its dark chocolate and has a thick mint flavoured fondant encased inside. Although it sounds pretty unbeatable, this new flavour could mean there’s some new competition in town.
A B&M spokesperson confirmed the launch of the limited edition version, which is usually only sold in Germany.
The description from the website describes the Strawberry and Mint After Eight as: “Summer is fruity. After Eight Mint & Strawberry reissues the British classic. The wafer-thin tablets made from delicious dark chocolate are filled with refreshing peppermint fondant, which is refined here with a fruity strawberry taste. Enjoy these chocolates whenever you want – because somewhere it’s always after eight.”
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to order from B&M as they don’t deliver. However, you can check out their store locator so you can find the nearest store to you!
However, if you’d prefer to order online then you can order 200g boxes from Germany – if you don’t mind paying £3.99 instead, with an additional £2.99 delivery charge. Available to order from both Amazon and GB Gifts, the delicious treat will definitely be worth it the extra cost.
