Bruce Willis has found a new ‘will to live’ amid his ongoing health battle.

Willis, 67, is known for his iconic roles in films such as Die Hard, Armageddon, and Pulp Fiction.

Last year, the legendary actor was diagnosed with aphasia, which is a condition that impacts the part of the brain that is responsible for understanding and producing language.

During the Christmas period, a source said his family were ‘praying for a holiday miracle’, while actor Sylvester Stallone has also given a ‘sad’ update.

However, things have been looking positive for Willis in recent weeks, and it’s believed he’s found a ‘new will to live’.

At the end of last year, Willis’ daughter Rumer, 34, who he shares with his ex-wife Demi Moore, revealed that she is expecting her first child.

She announced the exciting news in an Instagram post, with a photo of her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, who is the frontman for the band Vista Kicks, resting his head on her stomach.

Moore also shared the photos on her own account, alongside the caption: “Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era.”

While a source close to the family has told RadarOnline that news of Willis being a granddad for the first time has put him in ‘seventh heaven’.

A friend of Willis reportedly also told the publisher: “Bruce has never backed away from a challenge.

“He’s deadset that this new baby is going to get the best he has to offer.”

While The Sixth Sense star is determined to beat his illness, Dr Michael Tuchman – a leading neurologist who has been studying the actor from afar – sadly told RadarOnline that his diagnosis may not be incurable and could get worse within five years.

“As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

The post was signed off by Willis’ wife Emma, his ex-wife Demi Moore, and his other children.
