Rihanna Confirms She Is Pregnant After Spectacular Super Bowl Halftime Show
Rihanna’s representatives have confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child after her Super Bowl performance sparked speculation.
Fans began asking whether Rihanna, 34, was pregnant after she performed an array of hits from across her career during the traditional halftime show.
Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child – a boy – into the world last May.
And now, it’s been confirmed that a second is on the way.

Rihanna performed at halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Philadelphia Eagles, wearing a bright red outfit and singing some of her most popular songs.
She performed hit tracks such as ‘Work’, ‘We Found Love’ and, of course, ‘Umbrella’.
And she didn’t bring out any special guests, as is often seen at the Super Bowl, aside from a group of dancers in white outfits.
But much of the speculation after her incredible performance was about whether the Barbadian superstar is expecting another child.
Rihanna’s fans were convinced she had ‘announced’ her second pregnancy during the show.

The ‘Diamonds’ singer arrived on the field from a floating stage and opened her tracksuit to reveal a seemingly growing baby bump.
She then rubbed her stomach.
“OH MY GOD RIHANNA IS PREGNANT AGAIN,” one user wrote on Twitter.
“OK so everyone just googled ‘Rihanna pregnant’ right,” another added.
A representative for the ‘We Found Love’ artist confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she is indeed expecting another child.
Fans and celebrities alike have taken to social media to react to the news.
Piers Morgan writes: “Rihanna IS pregnant, her aides have confirmed.
“So she did that halftime show while carrying a baby which is pretty damn impressive. Congrats Rihanna.”
While one fan says: “The baby was her special guest,” alongside a love heart emoji.
Another writes: “I swear I thought I saw something… I guess I wasn’t the only one! Congrats Rihanna.”
After the birth of her first child, Rihanna decided to rethink her boycott of the Super Bowl after concerns over racial injustice were highlighted by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
On her decision to perform again, she said: “I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum.
“Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this’.
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world – you can do anything.

“And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was…there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.”
She added: “It’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna also spoke about how difficult it was to refine her distinguished career into such a short set, which lasted less than 13 minutes.
Beforehand, the ‘Love the Way You Lie’ singer said: “The setlist was the biggest challenge.
“That was the hardest part – deciding how to maximise 13 minutes, but also celebrate.
“That’s what the show’s going to be – it’s going to be a celebration of my catalogue in the best way.
“I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.”
