Doja Cat has responded to Christians who have been left furious by her ‘demonic’ new tattoo.

Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, is a rapper and singer-songwriter who is known for tracks such as ‘Juicy’, ‘Woman’ and ‘Get into It’.

The ‘Kiss Me More’ singer, 27, almost quit the industry last year and she’s now working on her fourth studio album ‘Hellmouth’.

She’s recently taken to Instagram and shown off her latest inking to her 26.1 million followers.

The post is captioned: “Purging on you.”

The snap of the ‘Say So’ singer’s tattoo is on her left forearm and is based on a Giovanni Battista Bissoni illustration from Italian philosopher Fortunio Liceti’s 1634 book ‘De Monstruorum Causis, Natura et Differentiis’ (‘On the Reasons, Nature, and Differences of Monsters’).

Since being uploaded onto the social media platform, the inking has received more than two million likes and thousands of fans have taken to the comments to say they love it.

One person writes: “Beautiful, unique woman following her own path instead of conforming to yours.”

Another adds: “The evolution of Doja is beautiful, authentic and I’m here for it.”

Somebody else says: “Live as you want. Don’t let anyone take that away from you. Love you queen.”

However, many people are taking to the comments and branding the inking ‘satanic’ and ‘demonic’.

“You know you can always find Jesus it’s never too late,” one follower pens.

A second person comments: “Pray for Doja, she needs god.”

While another says: “Doja Cat in her witch era? Or her insane era? Or maybe her satanic ritual era.

“What is my sis going through lmao.”

Following the criticism, Doja Cat has taken to social media and spoken out.

On Twitter, she pens: “If [you’re] calling me demonic honestly werk [because], like, I love that [you] ate [for real].”

A day before, the ‘Streets’ rapper took to Instagram and shared on her stories: “Satan said thanks for all the buzz.”

She wrote: “‘F*** you and f*** what you believe b****.

“And I f***ed your mum b****.”

Concluding the post, Doja Cat added: “Goodnight p****.”

Doja Cat has previously admitted that she is ‘addicted to social media’ and that it’s ‘become a part of her career’.

In her Time cover story, the ‘MOOO!’ singer says: “I enjoy it. Actually I deeper than enjoy it.

“I am very impulsive. And I see it as a form of entertainment for the people that are reading it and watching it. And I’m also entertained. Social media has been a really big part of what I do.”
