Tragic details have emerged after actress Emily Chesterton died aged 30.
Chesterton was cast as the understudy to Sabrina Aloueche and Maiya Quansah-Breed in Cases at the Other Palace, but due to the pandemic, the show didn’t go ahead.
She was Hammond Poetry Prize Winner in 2018 and also received a William Newsom Scholarship.
Tragically, it’s now been confirmed that she has passed away under tragic circumstances.

Chesterton was seen by a physician associate (PA) at Vale Practice Surgery in North London on October 31, and was wrongly told her issues were leading from ‘anxiety’.
The star’s parents have now spoken out after their daughter’s tragic death – stating that the spread of ‘physician associates’ will spark more unfortunate tragedies in the future.
Chesterton’s symptoms before her untimely passing included calf pain, a swollen and hot leg, shortness of breath and she was finding it increasingly difficult to walk.

The 30-year-old actress was originally from Greater Manchester but had relocated to London to pursue a career in acting, believed a GP had seen her – but instead, a physician associate prescribed her propranolol medication for anxiety.
Chesterton collapsed later that evening and was rushed to hospital.
However, her heart unfortunately stopped beating and the doctors could not save her life.
A coroner concluded her life could have been saved if the 30-year-old actress had been to A&E and given a pulmonary embolism.
Chesterton’s parents, Brendan and Marion Chesterton, later called for greater clarity on whether a GP or physician associate sees patients after grieving the devastating passing of their daughter under such traumatic circumstances.
The late actress’ mother Marion, who described her daughter as a ‘beautiful soul’ in a tearjerking statement, told The Times that the family wanted to speak out and to secure clarity ‘to protect other families’, and went on to say ‘we want this never to happen to any more Emilys.’
While Chesterton’s father added: ‘We are concerned that patients are seeing physician associates and not realising that they are not doctors, like Emily.’

Chesterton’s passing was announced back in November via a devastating statement posted on Facebook.
The actress’ family stated that the rising star passed away surrounded by her family.
The statement reads: “Dear family and friends,
“It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our dear Emily,
“Due to unexpected natural causes, Emily passed away surrounded by her family,
“Not only was she the sweetest daughter and sister, best auntie and most loving partner, Emily was a beautiful person and she will be dearly missed,
“We will inform you in regards to paying respects to her in the near future.”
