Jonah Hill’s New Movie Gets 100% On Rotten Tomatoes And Fans Are Raving About It
Jonah Hill’s new movie has received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and fans are raving about it.
Hill, 38, is best known for his hilarious roles in comedy films such as Superbad, Get Him to the Greek, and 21 and 22 Jump Street.
He’s played more dramatic roles in Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street, which earned him two Acadamy Award nominations.
Hill’s latest project, which explores mental health, has now seen him receive huge praise from critics and fans.

Stutz is written and directed by Hill and in his own words, the project is about ‘a patient making a film about his psychiatrist’.
The Netflix movie sees the War Dogs actor and Dr Phil Stutz speak openly about their mental health, as well as encouraging people to speak about their mental health and be more comfortable in doing so.
Stutz also explores the psychiatrist’s life and career too, including how he has worked with other celebrities.
Hill was referred to Stutz by Joaquin Phoenix, who produced the film with his partner, Rooney Mara, reports GQ.

Fans on social media have been reacting to the film, with one person calling it ‘the best thing this year’.
Another user commented: “Jonah Hill’s Stutz on Netflix is extraordinary, and I’m not seeing enough people talk about it.
“If you’re even remotely interested in mental health, therapy or even just biographies of interesting people, you should absolutely watch it.”
A third added: “As someone who is a lover of actionable therapy, I cannot recommend the Stutz documentary enough. Had me choked up for the entire 90 minutes.”
Someone else said: “My life hack for today: Please watch this movie.
“It will make you grateful, touched, inspired, grounded, and show you that the sun is always there, above the skies.”
Critics are also loving the film and have praised Hill for making a ‘raw’ documentary.
Nick Allen, from RobertEbert.com, wrote: “Jonah Hill’s gently powerful documentary Stutz is a personal project about someone else’s work.”
While a review for The Playlist, Rodrigo Perez said: “This pandemic-shot doc about his road to healing is about as raw, candid, and poignantly soul-bearing as you could hope for.”

Hill has been open to the public about his mental health, and he recently revealed he won’t be promoting his films to protect his mental well-being.
In an open letter shared by Deadline, he revealed that he had been experiencing anxiety attacks ‘for nearly 20 years ‘which are exacerbated by media appearances and public-facing events’.
Hill added: With this letter and with Stutz, I’m hoping to make it more normal for people to talk and act on this stuff.
“So they can take steps towards feeling better and so that the people in their lives might understand their issues more clearly.”
