Viewers Praise ‘Unrecognisable’ Mila Kunis In Film That’s Just Dropped On Netflix
Viewers are praising ‘unrecognisable’ Mila Kunis in a film that has just dropped on Netflix.
The 39-year-old actress is one of the most well known movie and TV stars working today.
Her versatility ranges from comedic performances in Ted and That ’70s Show, to iconic voice work in Family Guy, and then flexing her dramatic chops in Black Swan.
However, it’s one project that has just dropped on Netflix that has people talking.
Check out the trailer for this film below…
Four Good Days stars Kunis and Glenn Close (101 Dalmatians) and follows a daughter asking her estranged mother to help her in her recovery from substance abuse.
The movie came out in 2020 during the pandemic and seemingly went under the radar, having only grossed $864,091 at the box office.
It received mixed reviews too, with many critics praising the performances and how the film tackles a sensitive topic – but criticising the pacing of the movie.

Four Good Days has now dropped on Netflix and viewers are taking to social media to discuss it.
One viewer says: “Just watched Four Good Days on Netflix. Very powerful and related to it a lot…
“Addiction is scary, but coming through it is even scarier. Mila Kunis and Glenn Close played both characters perfectly. Incredible work.”
“Just absolutely balled my eyes out at Four Good Days on Netflix. What a movie,” adds a second.
Someone else comments: “5 mins in watching Four Good Days on Netflix and incredible acting by Mila Kunis.
“Feels like another day working cash exchange, such a sad sad world we live in.”
Another viewer writes: “Four Good Days is a tough watch. Mila Kunis is unrecognisable. Her portrayal of an addict deserves an Oscar.”
Somebody else says: “Just watched Four Good Days on Netflix and cannot recommend it enough.
“Cried my eyes out. Mila Kunis and Glenn close are just [on] another level. Amazing story. Definitely need to watch.”
Four Good Days is based on the true story of Amanda Wendler and her mother Libby Alexander.
The title refers to the amount of time Molly must stay clean while living with her mom so she can receive naltrexone treatment – which blocks the effects of opiates on the body.
To make her portrayal as accurate as possible Kunis lost 20 pounds and wore prosthetic ‘meth teeth’, as well as having fake scars all over her body.

As reported by Deadline, the Friends With Benefits star also asked the stylist to bleach her hair blonde and ruin it in the process.
Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment, Kunis describes this role as the ‘most challenging’ role of her career.
She explains: “The physicality of it becomes really challenging, and she’s just in a constant state of despair. My character never had any release. She just didn’t.
“So I was really happy that the film wasn’t a two-month-long production. You know, sometimes you’re like, ‘Oh, I wish this went on longer’. I was very happy when it ended. I was like, ‘I’m good. This is enough’.”
Four Good Days is now available to stream on Netflix.
