Netflix Issues Warning Over Racy New Thriller
Netflix is issuing viewers a warning over its latest racy thriller series.
The streaming service has a history of putting out steamy content.
Films and shows such as 365 Days, Sex/Life and Sex Education were all huge successes upon release.
But now there is a new series which is so raunchy that Netflix has been forced to issue viewers a warning.
Watch the trailer for the racy thriller below…
Obsession, which landed on the streaming service this year, follows a surgeon called William (Richard Armitage) as he has an affair with his son’s fiancée Anna (Charlie Murphy).
In a furniture-less flat, the pair soon find themselves in a BDSM relationship.
BDSM is a s**xual preference which may involve physical restraints, the granting and relinquishing of control and sometimes the consensual infliction of pain.
Anna tells William about ‘the rules’ and how she will control everything – except when they are in the flat.

However, the little fling soon becomes a dangerous obsession for the surgeon, who begins to follow his soon-to-be daughter-in-law’s every move.
The Netflix thriller is an adaptation of the erotic novel ‘Damage’, which was also made into a 1992 film starring Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche.
The four-part series is one of the most talked about shows at the moment due to its erotic scenes.
However, if you are more interested in the story and you don’t want to watch the intimate moments, Netflix has kindly shared a guide to help prepare you for when these scenes happen.
Shared on its UK and Ireland Twitter account, the streaming service says: “If you’ve made the (questionable) decision to watch Obsession with your parents, these are the moments you’ll probably want to excuse yourself,” and proceed to put the exact times of when ‘stuff’ happens.
If you’ve made the (questionable) decision to watch Obsession with your parents, these are the moments you’ll probably want to excuse yourself:
Ep1: 26m14s
Ep2: 00m32s
Ep2: 22m00s

While thousands of people are watching Obsession, one person who won’t be watching is the series’ star Armitage, who says he doesn’t tend to watch himself in projects he’s starred in.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he explains: “I won’t be watching. I don’t really like to watch most things I’ve done and this one was pretty intense… intense in a brilliant way.

“I’m left with a happy memory of what we did.”
The Hobbit actor adds that he was surprised to still be doing nude scenes at the age of 51.
Armitage continues: “Yes, there’s an irony in that I thought once I turned 50 I wouldn’t have to take my shirt off any more.”
