Previously, she relied on a wheelchair for mobility.

However, before experiencing this success, Tammy faced a challenging situation as she spent time at a food rehabilitation centre.

During her stay, Tammy’s health took a turn for the worse, and she was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing.

She was put on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma.

Tammy has been open about her hospitalisation and the near-death experience, sharing her perspective with People magazine.

She mentioned undergoing surgery, strengthening her lungs, and eventually being able to have her tracheostomy tube removed.
