Heidi Klum’s teenage daughter has responded to the backlash over the pair’s ‘weird’ lingerie photo shoot.
It all started when the America’s Got Talent judge, 49, and Leni, 18, posed together in their underwear for the Italian brand Intimissimi, for which they are ambassadors.
Klum’s snapshots were captioned: “Together with Intimissimi we celebrate women; the love and support between a mother and her daughter; and how confident, beautiful and happy lingerie can make you feel.”
She added: “Creative director ….my longtime friend Thomas Hayo. Thanks for making us feel confident all day singing and dancing in our Intimissimi Official.”
The images have quickly gone viral on social media, with many questioning whether it was appropriate.

Weighing in on the debate, TV presenter and model Ulrika Jonsson says it made her feel ‘uneasy’.
In her column for The Sun, she pens: “Who doesn’t love to see a nice mother-and-daughter portrait and, better still, believe their relationship is flourishing?
“Is it just me, or has this now become a disconcerting thing?
“It feels like a bizarre, modern-day version of the days of Jane Austen, when your daughter was paraded and boasted about — it was about grandstanding your genes while secretly and stealthily whispering: ‘Look what I’ve made’.
“It’s as if daughters have become the latest commodity to have and, indeed, to peddle.”

While radio host Howard Stern also believed the shoot is inappropriate, as he adds (via The Mirror): “I looked at it and I thought ‘This is so f***ing out of line’. It is so inappropriate. But you can’t stop looking at it.
“It looks like a guy’s fantasy. They’re kissing and they’re holding each other. And they’re frolicking.”
Defending the photo shoot, Intimissimi has taken to Instagram and explained the concept.
The fashion brand states: “The idea behind the campaign is to show them how they truly are. The two represent the strong bond between mother and daughter.”
While the youngest Klum has come forward to say that she was proud of the photo shoot and didn’t ‘even look at a lot of the reactions’.
Speaking to Page Six at her mum’s annual Halloween party – which was her first time attending – Leni says: “I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions.
“I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great, and we had an amazing time.
“I just don’t look at it, honestly.
“If I don’t look at it, I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there.”

She adds: “I had an amazing day, an amazing shoot, it’s out, I love it.
“I love her. She’s an inspiration. Just the advice she gives me, the way she works, everything about her, I can go on and on.
“I love shooting with her.”
