Kim Kardashian was left ‘freaking out’ after spotting a mysterious shadow of a woman in the background of her selfie.
The SKIMS founder, 42, is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and is known for her empire of businesses, her high-profile relationships and being a reality TV star.
Kim’s popularity has seen her amass a huge number of followers on social media and currently, she has 362 million on Instagram.
Having that many eyes on her socials means that almost everything Kim posts goes noticed, with her latest snap going viral for a very disturbing reason.

The Kardashians star shared a mirror selfie of herself over the weekend, which she reveals in the caption that she took while on her own.
Kim says that afterwards, she scrolled through her phone and noticed a shadow lurking in the background of the image.
She captioned the post: “Soooo I took this pic last week when I was alone and now going through my phone I am freaking out noticing a woman in the window.”
Fans of Kim have taken to the comments to suggest what that shadow is.

“It looks like Kris’ hair!” jokes one person.
Someone else quips: “Just your ancestors protecting you.”
A third adds: “Why does it look like one of the handmaidens from The Handmaid’s Tale though.”
While another fan claims: “It’s probably her personal assistant.
“She just wanted to post this pic without appearing as if she wants to really post this pic because she thinks she looks good in minimal makeup.”

Others have made a reference to a running gag from Keeping Up with the Kardashians in which Scott Disick would call Kris Jenner pretending to be their family friend Todd Kraines.
“IT’S TODD KRAINES,” someone comments, with another person joking: “That’s actually Todd… Kraines…”
This is not the first time a selfie of Kim has left fans with many questions.

“I just try on SKIMS swim and pray it doesn’t rain forever in LA,” the caption read.
Although the post garnered a whopping 2.7 million likes, some fans thought they spotted a Photoshop blunder as her fingers looked altered.
However, some eagle-eyed fans worked out that the image isn’t edited at all and believe that it is simply the pop socket on the back of her phone covering up her finger.
