Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has had her £40,000 engagement ring stolen.

According to The Sun, the 29-year-old is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ that the emerald and diamond-encrusted gold band, which was given to her by footballer Andre Grey last year, was swiped from her bedroom during a house move.

The celebrity couple is now doing everything they can to get it back.

A friend told the publication: “Leigh-Anne and Andre are doing all they can to get to the bottom of it and get their ring back. It’s not about the money – it’s the principle.

“Leigh-Anne was going mad. She was so upset and furious that someone would do that as well. She doesn’t need the stress.

“The ring is a symbol of their love, so she was super careful about what she did with it during the move.

“Leigh-Anne and Andre both feel gutted, properly betrayed, of course you would.”

Police confirmed in a statement that they were called to their home on May 13.

It read: “Officers were called on May 13 after reports of a theft where an engagement ring was taken.

“The theft is believed to have taken place between 8am and 6pm. Inquiries remain ongoing.”

Apparently, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock kept the treasured possession in a box on top of a safe in her master bedroom.

She often shared photographs of it on her Instagram account and gushed about how much she adored it.

Opening up about her wedding plans during an interview with Heart radio, she said: “Yeah, obviously it’s quite hard with the current situation, but at the same time it’s not for a couple of years anyway so I’ve got time. I’ve given myself time to plan it. But I mean, bridezilla all the way!”

She added: “I need to calm down a bit.”
