A woman who is ‘trapped in the body of a child’ has opened up about her new love interest.
Shauna Rae, who is 3ft 10in tall, documents the challenges that come with looking like a child on her TLC show I Am Shauna Rae.
The series explores Rae’s childhood illness and its unexpected side effect – that she stopped growing.
In the latest episodes, Rae introduces her new love interest to viewers.

Rae – who weighs just 50 pounds – suffered brain cancer as a child and went through chemotherapy.
This damaged her pituitary gland and led to her having pituitary dwarfism.
As a result, she resembles an eight-year-old girl rather than the 23-year-old woman she is.
In a preview for the show, Rae is seen talking about a man called Dan.

The pair met after he slid into her DMs and sent her flowers, telling her that he had been ‘inspired’ by her strength after watching her show.
Since his initial advances, Dan has been spending time getting to know Rae and her family.
However, Rae is concerned about a potential long-distance relationship as Dan is from Wales in the UK, while she lives in the US.
She says: “I haven’t actually really thought about if Dan and I were in a relationship and how that would look.
“I assume that we would probably try long-distance, but I’ve been in a long-distance relationship and it’s not my cup of tea.
“So, either he would have to find a settle-down place or I would have to start travelling with him.”
While they are not ‘officially’ a couple, Rae has agreed to accompany Dan to his friend’s wedding in Malaysia, after getting her parent’s blessing.
Her stepfather says on the show: “Dan taking Shauna out of the country, I think would be really cool. I think she’d have a good time.
“I don’t think I’d be as concerned if Shauna went on a trip with Dan because she’s with Dan.
“I mean, I think the first thing he would do is protect Shauna.”
Despite her parents’ agreeing to let her go to Malaysia, Rae has doubts, as she explained: “They’re bold face liars.
“They probably wouldn’t let me go if it actually happened.”
Previously on the show, she went on a date with a 20-year-old voluntary firefighter, Thomas, who also has pituitary dwarfism.

At the time, she spoke to People about the date, describing it as an ‘amazing experience’ to meet someone with the same condition as her.
However, Rae’s dating history hasn’t all been plain sailing.
The reality star has previously spoken of her dating experiences and how she has managed to suss out ‘creeps’ who want to be with her for the wrong reasons.
She said: “I’ve just developed the ability to spot someone who may not have the best intentions because they give themselves away.
“Their questions are very targeted towards my physicality.
“They’re learning about me like I’m a specimen in a lab.”
