A woman has been left in shock after Storm Eunice apparently ‘destroyed her back garden’. 

The TikTok user, who goes by the username @iftheshoefitswearit, has gone viral after revealing that a tree collapsed on her property due to the dangerous weather.

In the video, she wrote: “Storm Eunice is no joke.”

The woman, who is believed to be based in Southhampton, informed her 40.8k followers: “This is the tree in our garden, and I’m worried that [the one on] this side is gonna fall on our house, so I think we’re gonna have to leave, but it’s very scary!”

Later on, she shared a follow-up clip in which she reassured viewers that everyone was fine, adding: “The roof is a bit damaged but could be a bit worse.”

The TikToker’s original clip has now been viewed over 340,000 times and hundreds have taken to the comments to share their own experiences of Storm Eunice.

One viewer said: “I’m on top of a valley in Wales and feels like I’m gonna do a Mary Poppins.”

Another added: “I’m currently watching to see if my shed takes off Wizard of Oz style. It sure looks like it.”

“I’ve got a big tree in my garden,” a third wrote. “Bit scared now.”

A fourth pitched in, writing: Hope you guys are okay, I’m in Cardiff and a tree collapsed into our house.”

Others took to the comments and tried to make light of the situation.

Joking, one penned: “Think of the firewood… with energy bills so high you’re going to be well warm for cheap.”
