M&S Percy Pig Ice Cream Is Released!

Percy Pig ice cream is released

Marks & Spencer has released a Percy Pig ice cream which apparently has the unmistakable taste of raspberries and grape, just like the beloved Percy Pig sweets.

With a ripple of fruity sauce and the soft chewy texture of marshmallows, M&S has launched the ultimate ice cream, which is dedicated to the posh chain’s iconic Percy Pig sweets.

For £3, you can pick up a 453g which will be located in the freezer aisle of your local M&S.

The store recommends that you serve the ice cream as a lemonade float or load it up on a banana with tons of sprinkles.

However, the idea of having the ultimate Percy Pig sundae sounds pretty amazing too. Imagine, the pink ice cream drizzled with Percy Pig dessert sauce and then to top it off some Percy Pig sweets! Now that’s a whole lot of the most iconic piglet.

The ice cream is also an option for vegetarians too. Unfortunately, it is not vegan friendly as of yet.

Director of Product Development April Preston has stated: “Customers have been asking us for a Percy Pig ice cream for a long time now, so we’re very pleased to be able to introduce one at a time when we could all use a little pick me up.

“Percy Pig is loved by so many, so when we develop a new Percy product, we have to ensure every element of the flavour and texture is synonymous with what our loyal fans expect.

“This velvety smooth ice cream gives that famous Percy Pig flavour, combined with the soft chewy texture of marshmallow. I love two scoops with an extra sprinkling of mini marshmallows on top and a good rom-com.”

Of course, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is required you only leave your house as long as you are doing something ‘essential’. Therefore, it is advised you only go to your nearest M&S when you need to get your big shop of the week in.
