Some of Baba Vanga‘s terrifying predictions for 2024 have already come true.

Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, who was known as the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’, was reportedly caught in a tornado as a child and almost died.

Following the incident, her eyes were left permanently damaged and it’s believed this led to her developing a second sight.

Throughout her life, she made a series of terrifying predictions – with one of her 2023 predictions actually coming true.

Reportedly, she also predicted 9/11 and the rise of Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

And last year, her predictions for 2024 went viral and while it may only be April, some of her alleged prophecies have already come true.

One of her visions for this year includes a ‘big country’ carrying out biological weapons tests – or even attacks – which could lead to catastrophic consequences.

Allegedly, she also foresaw an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will apparently come from someone within his own country.

While these may not have come true yet, two of Baba Vanga’s alleged prophecies have. So let’s take a look:

Economic crisis

The ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’ predicted that some countries would suffer from an economic crisis in 2024, and unfortunately, both Japan and the UK have publicly struggled.

The UK has been looking at solutions to recover after entering a recession in the second half of 2023, as per The Guardian.

Meanwhile, Japan has fallen to the fourth position in global standings – which highlights the seriousness of its economic challenges, as per AP News.

The country previously held the third spot, but it has since been overtaken by Germany.

Cancer vaccine

Fortunately, Baba Vanga’s other reported prediction that has come true is a bit more hopeful.

She allegedly foresaw a major breakthrough in the treatment of diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s in 2024.

It has been confirmed that a new vaccine against lung cancer is in development.

Scientists from the University of Oxford, the Francis Crick Institute and University College London (UCL) are using technology similar to the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine to create the ‘LungVax’, as per Sky News.

President of the CRIS Cancer Foundation, Lola Manterola, has described the study to be ‘groundbreaking’, as it represents a huge step towards preventing cancer.

Vladimir Putin has confirmed that Russia is working on a vaccine against cancer too.

In televised comments, via Reuters, Putin said: “We have come very close to the creation of so-called cancer vaccines and immunomodulatory drugs of a new generation.”

The President did not specify which type of cancer the proposed vaccine would target, or how it would work.

If this is true, and Russia is in the process of creating a cancer vaccine, it would correlate with another of Baba Vanga’s alleged prophecies.

During an interview with writer Valentin Sidorov, Baba Vanga reportedly said Putin’s ‘glory’ would remain ‘untouched’.

“Too much is brought in a victim. Nobody can stop Russia,” she allegedly said (via Metro).

“All will thaw as if ice, only one remain untouched – Vladimir’s glory, glory of Russia.

“All will be removed by her from the way and not only will be kept but also becomes the lord of the world.”
