After discovering that she was being cheated on by the man she was meant to be marrying in 90 days, Devin Allen decided to take to TikTok to share the “red flags” she realised had been in her relationship, that hinted at the affair.
A bride-to-be was left heartbroken when she discovered that her other half had been having an affair for six months as they were preparing for their wedding. Looking back at this period, Devin has realised there were “red flags” and she decided to share them with others, so they don’t find themselves in the same situation as her.
Devin, from Pennsylvania, US, had been with her partner for six years and was due to get married to him. Yet 90 days before the wedding was about to take place, she discovered that he had been cheating on her.
The 31-year-old said she found out about the affair after he had accidentally synced the incriminating messages to her laptop.
Although she was devastated, Devin decided she couldn’t let him win by ruining her life. So on the day of their wedding, she went to a Beyoncé concert and then took off to travel the world.
Alongside her friend Jessica Heilwell, Devin founded the company diyBreakUp, which was created to help those who found themselves calling off their engagements as a result of an affair.
Recently, Devin has used the TikTok account of diyBreakUp to share the “red flags” she felt had been hinting at her ex-fiancé having his affair. She claims she “chose to ignore” the signs but doesn’t want anyone else to make this mistake. Therefore, she candidly explained what anyone suspicious should be looking out for from their partner.
In one of the TikTok videos, she said that her ex-fiancé had been a “true piece of work” and recalled on how one night, they had been lying on the bed together when he suddenly received a text message that showed another woman’s breasts.
She said: “He said his friend was cheating with a girl they want to high school with, and he was showing off by sending these videos.
“Of course, I believed him. It required no further explanation.”

In another of the videos, she recollected on a night out she had had with her friends. She said that her ex had said they should meet up but when she met him, she was a little upset by what she saw.
She said: “We ended up going there shortly after and saw him sitting up at a bar with another girl.
“His hand is on his leg and rubbing her thigh.”
Later on that evening, she had quizzed him on the incident but somehow found that she was apologising, even though she had caught him red-handed.
She recalled: “He completely spins it back to me and says I should have told him what time I was going to be there and that I was the one being sneaky and spying on him and he doesn’t know if he can marry someone who doesn’t trust him even though I was the one who caught him red-handed.
“I apologised and that was the end of the fight.”

In her final red flag video, Devin said she remembered that she had had an argument with her ex-fiancé and then the next day, she woke up feeling nauseous.
She said: “He told me I was faking and was doing it for attention so he left to play golf.”
A few hours later, she found that her situation had gotten worse and within eight hours, she was throwing up everywhere. Yet he still hadn’t arrived home from his supposed golf trip and when she finally got through to him on the phone, he agreed to take her to the hospital.
She explained: “On the way to the hospital, he stops for food. He leaves me in the car for 45 minutes while he’s picking up this food then gets back in the car and eats this food.
“I’m projectile vomiting out the window because of the smell but it doesn’t phase him at all.”
When they arrived at the hospital, her ex seemed oblivious to her weak condition and continued to insist to the doctors she was “faking it”. In the end, she needed three IV-drips but he still blamed her for getting ill.
Later on, Devin discovered that when he had stopped off for food, he had actually popped into his side chick’s place of work to see her.
