A woman has broken down in tears on social media after her boyfriend inked her ‘first tattoo’ which looked nothing like the smiley face she had asked for.
The TikToker, who goes by the username @notactuallyshi, recently shared a clip captioned: “Life is temporarily unfortunate.”
Over in the video, the woman claimed that she had wanted a simple tattoo of a circle, two dots, and a line in the middle.

However, she bravely decided to let her boyfriend – who had never inked a tattoo before – do it himself.
What she ended up with turned out to be a wobbly line for a mouth, two dots, and the word ‘Rad’.
Alongside the images, the woman showed herself crying with mascara running down her face.
She has since received a ton of support from her followers on TikTok, with many people reassuring her that it will most likely ‘fade’ with time, or be easily ‘covered up’.
One viewer said: “Bro, that’ll probably fade within a year or so, you’ll be fine.”
Pitching in, a second added: “The good thing is, it can easily be covered up!”
“Easy to cover, don’t worry girl,” a third commented.
A fourth joined in, saying: “Luckily, that can easily be covered. Do your research people.”

Others took to the comments and said they actually thought the tattoo looked pretty ‘cool’.
“Well, it’s kinda cool though,” one TikToker wrote. “I’d be happy with that.”
In agreement, another commented: “What? I actually look it though, it’s so cool!”
