Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, has thrown out all of her Balenciaga clothing.
The luxury fashion brand came under fire recently due to a recent ad campaign featuring child models holding teddy bears.
People were quick to notice that the toys were dressed in bondage gear and disturbing documents had been used as props.
The designer brand was forced to apologise following significant criticism of its ‘disgusting’ and ‘depraved’ holiday campaign.
A number of celebrities have spoken out against the brand – but now one star is taking things further.

Aldean has taken to Instagram to share a photo of her throwing out bags full of Balenciaga products.
The post was captioned ‘It’s trash day’, and she made sure to tag the luxury brand too.
In the clear disposable bags, fans could spot $400 sliders along with a $3,000 handbag.

Other items include a Balenciaga hoodie that costs around $1,050 and another handbag which is priced at $2,500.
She also had a bag over her shoulder too that had more clothing in it.

People in the comment section praised Aldean for getting rid of all her Balenciaga products.
One user replied: “It’s so nice to see the both of you standing up for what’s right. Thank you!”
Someone else added: “Girl I love you!!! Thanks for being an advocate for what’s right in the world!”
“Taking out the trash is right!!! Thank you for being the example other people have refused to be so far!!!” a third person commented.

Another fan said: “Just when you think you can’t like Brittany Aldean anymore than you already do and then she takes out her trash.”
A number of the comments also tagged Kim Kardashian in them, with some suggesting that she should take note of what Aldean is doing and should do something similar.
The reality star is often seen wearing Balenciaga clothing and she has issued a statement in response to the brand’s recent scandal.
Kardashian wrote: “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.
“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images.
“The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.
“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology.
“In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”
Despite expressing anger and disgust, many fans are still disappointed in Kardashian for choosing to still stand by Balenciaga rather than cut her ties with the brand.
