Influencer Elena Huelva has tragically died aged 20.
Huelva, from Seville, Spain, had a staggering 978,000 Instagram followers and more than 827,000 TikTok followers.
She posted fashion and lifestyle content for her many fans.
Huelva was also an author, having written a book titled ‘Mis Ganas Ganan’, which translates to ‘My Desires Win’. In the novel, she opened up in further detail about her life.
Her family has now announced that devastatingly, she has passed away.

In an Instagram story, which was uploaded to the content creator’s account, a heartbreaking message read: “Since this morning, Elena dances and looks at you from her star.
“Thank you for everything.”
The message featured a hashtag of the title of Huelva’s book.
Huelva was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer, Ewing sarcoma, in 2016. She documented her battle across social media.
On December 4, the influencer said an emotional farewell to her followers as she revealed that she is on end-of-life care.

Sitting in her hospital bed, she explained: “They found more disease in my windpipe, which is very dangerous, as you know, because that’s where we breathe. I don’t need to say much more.
“No matter what happens, I know that my life has not been in vain because I have fought and I have achieved what I want, to [bring awareness to the disease].”
She continued by saying that she never wanted to make this video, but wanted to make it clear that she ‘has already won’.

Huelva added: “I want to make it clear that I’ve already won. With all the love and people I have by my side, I’ve already won.
“At the end of the day, life is about living and making memories with people, and I take away many good memories with lots of wonderful people and many other things.
“I would like to thank you for all the affection you have always given me. I love you.”

Despite her condition getting worse in December, Huelva was able to spend Christmas at home with her parents Manuel and Emi and older sister Emi, 26.
However, on Sunday, she shared her final post on social media of her holding hands with a loved one, alongside the message: “Today I woke up not in the best way, in fact, nothing good, a big scare.
“These are very difficult days, they are becoming more and more complicated, but as you know I am stronger, and more complicated!
“I want you to know that I already won, a long time ago. We continue, always.”
She signed off with the title of her 2022 book: “My desires win.”

After hearing of Huelva’s tragic passing, thousands of fans have taken to social media and paid tribute.
One follower penned: “When you read news like the death of Elena Huelva, a 20-year-old girl from Seville, that’s when you stop thinking about the thousands of bulls*** we do every day and you realise what really matters in life.
“Elena, you have taught us a lesson that we should not forget.”
A second said: “I can’t believe it, rest in peace darling.”
While Sevilla football club tweeted: “Sevilla FC wants to express his condolences on the death of Elena Huelva. You never gave up.”
