Elon Musk, who recently spoke out about the risks of traveling to Mars, has been threatened by the hacker group Anonymous.
They’ve accused the Tesla owner of ‘destroying lives’ with his tweets about cryptocurrency.
In a video, spotted by TMZ, an Anonymous representative states: “Reading from the comments on your Twitter posts, it seems that the games you have played with the crypto market have destroyed lives. Millions of retail investors were really counting on their crypto gains to improve their lives.”

Later on in the clip, the billionaire’s recent moves were pointed out, including the decision for Tesla to stop accepting Bitcoin payments for its electric cars.
The rep then states that the company is generating most of its revenue through the green carbon tax credit from the governments of the countries in which it operates. By refusing Bitcoin, this flow of revenue will continue.
But the hacker group didn’t just call out Elon Musk over Bitcoin.
Anonymous also described the CEO as ‘nothing more than another narcissistic rich dude,’ as they believe his mission to save the world is based more on his ego and superiority rather than his concern for the planet and humanity.
To back this up, the group cited the numerous complaints that have been made by former Tesla employees, who have called out the company’s working conditions.
The children who are employed in lithium mines were also mentioned, as the chemical makes up a major component of the batteries used in Tesla’s cars, and most other electronic devices.
