Gogglebox’s Pete Sandiford and partner Paige Yeomans have welcomed a baby boy, according to reports.

On September 9, the reality TV star attended the National Television Awards and revealed he’s ‘overwhelmed’ at becoming a father.

He told the Mirror: “It’s a bit overwhelming, got it all going on at the moment!”

Sandiford then revealed the gender of his baby, adding: “He’s cool little lad, takes after his mum, not me!

“I’ve been up all night, I slept on the train here – got suitcases under my eyes, you just got me at a good time now.”

Pitching in, his sister Sophie gushed: “I’m a very proud auntie.

“I’m obsessed with him. I just keep saying ‘Can I hold him, can I feed him?’”

The Channel 4 personality announced he was expecting a baby with his fiancée back in April. It was actually in an episode of Gogglebox that the happy news came out, as he proudly showed his sister a photo of the scan.

Looking chuffed, he said: “Here we go, look at this!”

At the time, he didn’t know whether he was expecting a girl or a boy.

He said: “Innit mad? I am actually going to be a dad to somebody.”

To which his sister replied: “Crazy. Life’s coming at you fast.”

It was implied that it wasn’t the first time Sophie had heard the baby news, as she looked at the photo and said he’s a ‘proper little baby now’.

Sandiford and his sister have been on Gogglebox since 2018 and quickly became fan favourites.

Alongside his work on TV, the dad-of-one reportedly is employed in the insurance industry.
