‘Harry Potter’ Sequels Teased By Warner Brothers

A Harry Potter sequel could be in the works, according to the head of Warner Brothers.

Jason Kilar recently revealed the franchise could be expanded on HBO Max during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter.

He said: “There’s this little thing called Harry Potter, which is one of the most beloved franchises.

“So I would argue there’s a lot of fun and potential there as well.”

However, before you get too excited, nothing is currently in the works.

Following his comments, Warner Bros released a statement, saying: “There are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform.”

Fans have longed for a series ever since the film franchise came to an end in 2011.

Some think that if it does happen it should be based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage play.

Others would prefer for them to redo the whole story without missing any details from the books which were left out in the films.

One person wrote on Twitter: “I just want them to go back in time and redo Harry Potter as a TV series without missing a detail from the books.

“It’s really not too much to ask for.”

Another added: “Just gimme a Harry Potter animated TV series and everything will be a-ok.”
