Home Alone fans can now live out their childhood fantasies by staying in the iconic McCallister family home overnight.

Located in Chicago, the property can be booked through Airbnb, for one night only, to celebrate the new reboot of the Christmas classic, titled Home Sweet Home Alone

The company took to their Instagram to announce the news, saying: “Celebrate the season McCallister-style, ya filthy animals.

“For the first time ever, one crew of mischief makers can book a holiday in the timeless house where the Home Alone story began (without the interruption of pesky intruders).

“Big brother Buzz will host an overnight stay in his childhood home while the McCallisters are away for the holidays.

“Guests will enjoy a cosy holiday scene with a perfectly trimmed tree included, booby traps galore, but don’t worry – you’ll be setting them, not sidestepping them!”

They added that ‘Chicago’s finest pizza’ and a ‘meet and greet with a real-life tarantula’ will be on offer.

The opportunity will be available for just $25 to those lucky enough to secure a booking at the house.

Devin Ratray, who played Buzz McCallister in the original title, will host guests during the evening.

He said: “We may all be older and wiser now, but we’re never too old for holiday hijinks.

“So this year, spend the holidays not-so-home-alone at my parents’ house.”

Airbnb Will ‘Offer Free Accommodation To 20,000 Afghan Refugees’

Airbnb also revealed that it would be making a donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital to mark the occasion.

Bookings begin open on Tuesday, December 7 and a maximum of four lucky guests will be given the chance to stay over on December 12.
