Jeremy Clarkson has paid tribute to Olivia Newton-John, by recalling the time he almost fainted.
The Grease star died, aged 73, on August 8 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Paying his respects to her, Clarkson explained how she was his first teenage crush.

In his column for The Sun, via the Daily Express, he wrote: “All week, people have been talking about how great Olivia Newton-John was in Grease and how she had the voice of an angel and so on.
“But for me, peak Olivia was reached with the video for her hit song ‘Physical’.
“When I first saw it, I fainted and didn’t come round for about a year.”

‘Physical’ is arguably the most Newton-John’s biggest hit, as it sold over two million copies in its first week and spent 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Clarkson added: “She was my No1 teenage crush. And as a result, I’m sad to hear she’s died.”
Tributes have been aplenty for the British-born star, with her Grease co-star John Travolta also paying his respects.
In a post to his 3.9 million Instagram followers, he said: “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the moment I saw you and forever!”
Meanwhile, her husband, John Easterling, shared on Newton-John’s social media account: “Our love for each other transcends our understanding. Every day we expressed our gratitude for this love that could be so deep, so real, so natural.
“We never had to ‘work’ on it. We were in awe of this great mystery and accepted the experience of our love as past, present and forever.
At Olivia’s deepest essence she was a healer using her mediums of song, of words, of touch. She was the most courageous woman I’ve ever known.

“Her bandwidth for genuinely caring for people, for nature and all creatures almost eclipses what is humanely possible. It is only the grace of God that has allowed me to share the depth and passion of her being for so long.
“In her most difficult times, she always had the spirit, the humour, and the willpower to move things into the light.
“Even now as her soul soars, the pain and holes in my heart are healed with the joy of her love and the light that shines forward.
“Our family deeply appreciates the vast ocean of love and support that has come our way.”
