Jeremy Kyle ‘should be sacked from Talkradio‘ after the explosive Channel 4 documentary, viewers say.

Watchers of Death on Daytime – which aired earlier this week – have taken to Twitter and slammed the 56-year-old after the doc has claimed that he and those working on The Jeremy Kyle Show would downplay the mental health of participants, in order to produce the ITV programme.

Slamming Kyle, one fumed: “How many unfortunate individuals were persuaded to appear on The Jeremy Kyle Show, believing that he had their best interests at heart?

“He showed people a level of sneering contempt which has never been equalled on TV. It was evil and mocking.”

“@talkradioJeremy Kyle [is] still on at 4 today. Shame on you,” added another. “Is Bercow taking over from JHB in the mornings? Start the day with a bully then finish the day with one! Unbelievable.”

Pitching in, a third viewer said: “Watching the Jeremy Kyle documentary on Ch4 and finding it hard to believe that’s he’s still in gainful employment. *cough* @talkradio *cough*.

“What an egotistical repulsive little s***house.”

Even TV presenter Matthew Wright waded into the discussion, commenting: “18 years I called him vile... Unsurprisingly @talkradio offered him [a] gig despite all this!”

Earlier this week, Kyle appeared on Talkradio and addressed the documentary.

He said: “Let’s just deal with the elephant in the room straight away – [a] couple of texts already talking about a certain programme that was on television last night.

“Yes, I am fully aware. I will say only this, my friends, to you. I have maintained a consistent approach over the last three years.”

He continued: “I have said that I will not comment on the tragic death of Steve Dymond until the legal process has finished and that is a position I will maintain.

“When – and trust me, there will be a time after the inquest, when it is right and proper for me to have my say, because there are, of course, two sides to every single story – I will do it here and I will do it to you, and that is the most important thing.”

To conclude his speech, he added: “With the greatest of respect, I wanted to say that.”
