Andi Peters’ This Morning interview with TikTok star Kyle Thomas has been slammed by viewers after the guest-host questioned how much the 17-year-old earns.

The presenter asked the influencer on Monday’s show: I don’t want you to tell me your bank balance but could you buy a new toaster? Could you buy a new car? Could you buy a house wherever you wanted to?”

Thomas, who is one of the highest-earning teenage content creators on the social media platform, responded by saying that he could ‘live comfortably’ with how much he made from TikTok.

However, Peters continued to ask about his wealth by questioning the teenager about how much his jacket cost, which frustrated some This Morning viewers at home.

One person on Twitter posted: “Oh my christ, Andi Peters asking him how much he paid for his jacket. He’s unbearably rude.”

Another fan commented: “It’s really rude to ask him how much his clothes cost and how much he earns.”

“Stop asking him how much his stuff costs, it’s rude!” a third fumed.

Thomas began posting on TikTok in 2019, where he uploads a range of content, such as travel videos, daily lifestyle updates, and taking part in the latest popular trends.

He has 32.9million followers and is about to publish his first book.

Speaking on This Morning, Thomas revealed that his comic-style book, ‘Guardian Of The Realm,’ allowed him to work alongside the Sunday Times best-selling author Amrit Birdi.

He commented: “I was always so creative and when I got the opportunity to work with a great team and make something like that I was so excited for it.”
