‘Midnight Mass’ Leaves Netflix Viewers ‘Unable To Sleep’ As It’s So ‘Terrifying’

Midnight Mass, Netflix’s latest horror show, has left viewers ‘unable to sleep’ as it’s so ‘terrifying’. 

The programme, which has reached number three in the UK on the streaming service, is set in the isolated community of Crockett Island, where the residents start to experience supernatural events after the new parish priest arrives in town.

The drama features seven episodes which were written, directed, and executive produced by Mike Flanagan, who also made The Haunting of Hill House, and fans have been heaping praise on him.

One person wrote: “Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass is a thought-provoking, terrifying, and poignant horror masterpiece.

However, others enjoyed it so much they are watching it again.

The synopsis for the programme reads: “The arrival of a charismatic young priest brings glorious miracles, ominous mysteries and renewed religious fervour to a dying town desperate to believe.”

The trailer features eerie music and gives us a glimpse into the island where the show is set, and a look at the characters involved in the drama.
