“The response from a distracted world: Meh.”
It features a huge number of stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett and Ariana Grande.
After taking to the streaming platform and checking out the hit film for themselves, many viewers have gone onto Twitter and shared nothing but praise.
One fan penned: “Don’t Look Up is a comedy that portrays the depressing reality of our times. The direction is flawless and more importantly the most original piece you will see in recent times.
“It’s brilliant. Loved it.”
In agreement, another said: “Watched Don’t Look Up on Netflix with the family. So many parallels to the current world. DiCaprio’s scene about peer review was the chef’s kiss. And the lyrics in Ariana Grande’s song. Whew.”
A third person pitched in, writing: “The timing for Don’t Look Up was flawless. The way they cast well-known actors… sons of b*****s.”
“Don’t Look Up is such a painful satire, please go watch it,” a fourth commented.
Joining in, a fifth wrote: “Hey everyone! Don’t Look Up is great and you should all watch it. The only thing that could have made it better is if a Spider-Man showed up unexpectedly.”
Don’t Look Up is now available to watch on Netflix.
