School Of Rock fans are surprised that two of the child stars are dating in real life, almost 20 years after the film came out.

Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who played Marta and Frankie, have been together since 2018 and have been constantly posting loved-up photos on social media.

Fans of the film were shocked by the news, whilst also being extremely happy for the couple.

The 2003 film is one of Jack Black’s most adored films, with the actor playing a failed musician who’s tasked with putting together a band of musically gifted school students.

There were talks of a sequel and in 2008, it was put into development and named School Of Rock 2: America Rocks.

However, in 2012, the project went quiet.

Speaking to Page Six, Jack Black addressed the potential sequel: “I wish [a sequel would happen]. I tried really hard to get all the pieces together.

“I wouldn’t want to do it without the original writer and director, and we never all got together and saw eye-to-eye on what the script would be.

“It was not meant to be, unfortunately. But never say never.”
