A bodybuilder, aged 29, ‘shot his wealthy parents at their Long Island mansion on Christmas Day,’ according to Nassau County Police.
Dino Tomassetti has been accused of shooting Rocco Tomassetti, 65, and his wife, Vinceta Marsicano-Tomassetti, in the morning.
It’s believed they both survived the ordeal and their son escaped from the scene by driving a Cadillac Escalade car.

According to police, Tomassetti was arrested later that day after being located in New Jersey. He is reportedly waiting to be extradited to New York from Nassau County.
At this moment in time, the personal trainer is apparently being held on a charge of ‘fugitive from justice,’ due to the county’s legal system.
It will be up to Tomassetti’s parents whether their son faces any further charges.
So far, the police haven’t revealed any information as to why the bodybuilder allegedly ‘shot’ his parents.
However, it’s been claimed that the couple had to undergo surgery for their injuries, reports the New York Post.
It’s believed that when the news outlet contacted the Tomassettis’ neighbours for comment, they claimed to not ‘understand the whole thing’.
A neighbour reportedly said: “They’re lovely people. I don’t understand the whole thing.
“They’re very nice people. You couldn’t ask for better neighbours.
“That’s all I can tell you. They don’t bother you. They keep their house beautiful. They talk to you and say, ‘Can I help you with anything?’ They’re very fine people. I can’t say a bad word about them.
“I feel sorry for them. What else can you think? I feel very sorry for them. I hope they survive and come out of this.”
