Prince Harry is set to drop his highly-anticipated memoir ‘Spare’, which has already topped the book charts on pre-orders alone.

The tell-all book, published by Penguin Random House, will follow the Duke of Sussex, 38, and his ‘personal journey from trauma to healing’.

It’s expected to explore his childhood, his time in the military, and his life after marrying and having children with his wife, Meghan Markle, 41, the Duchess of Sussex.

The memoir’s press release reads: “‘Spare’ takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror.

“As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling and how their lives would play out from that point on.”

When is Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ coming out?

Although the memoir was originally scheduled for a 2022 release date, it’s been pushed back to January 10, 2023.

The book’s release date was reportedly moved following the death of Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

How much will Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ cost?

The hardcover version of the memoir will cost £14 in the UK, while in the US it will set readers back $36.

In the UK, the e-book version will cost £13.99 and in the US, it will be $17.99.

It will also be made available as an audiobook and it’s believed to feature narration from Prince Harry himself.

The Duke has previously confirmed that the proceedings from the book’s sales will go to charity, having already announced a $1.5 million donation to the charity Sentable.

He has also donated £300,000 to WellChild.
