Quentin Tarantino has revealed the reason his mum hasn’t had a penny of his fortune.
The Pulp Fiction director said that he made a vow to himself when he was just a child that he wouldn’t fund her because she was never supportive of his dreams.
On The Moment podcast, he explained: “Yeah. I helped her out with a jam with the IRS. But no house. No Cadillac, no house.

“There are consequences for your words as you deal with your children. Remember there are consequences for your sarcastic tone about what’s meaningful to them.”
The 58-year-old claimed that once his mum sided with teachers at his school when he was told off for writing screenplays in class at just 12 years old.
He said that the teacher viewed this ‘as a defiant act of rebellion’.

Following the scolding, he said she ‘was b****ing at me about that… and then in the middle of her little tirade, she said, ‘Oh, and by the way, this little ‘writing career,’ with the finger quotes and everything. This little ‘writing career’ that you’re doing? That s*** is over’.
Tarantino continued: “When she said that to me in that sarcastic way, I go, ‘Okay, lady, when I become a successful writer, you will never see one penny from my success. There will be no house for you. There’s no vacation for you, no Elvis Cadillac for mommy. You get nothing. Because you said that’.”
The director’s mother, Connie Zastoupil, is believed to be 75 years of age and, apparently, her second husband, Curtis Zastoupil, was ‘encouraging’ of Tarantino’s directing dreams.
