Woman Triggers Debate After Packing Lunch For Boyfriend ‘Like He’s Her Eight-Year-Old Child’

A woman has triggered a debate after sharing how she packs her boyfriend’s lunch for him, as many said it looked like a meal you’d give an eight-year-old child.

TikToker Kiara Wood-Lowe has been slammed online after sharing the elaborate efforts she goes to when preparing her boyfriend’s lunch.

The woman, from Australia, shared a clip of herself preparing lunch for her boyfriend before he headed off to work. Yet instead of receiving compliments about her kindhearted gesture, many slammed Kiara for going too far and treating her boyfriend “like he’s her child”.

Many viewers took to the comments section to tell Kiara that she shouldn’t have to make her boyfriend his lunch for work, especially to the lengths that she went to.

In the lunchbox, she put together some cheese and crackers, banana chips, salami, grapes, two yoghurts, dried apricots, popcorn and a chocolate bar.

Kiara simply captioned the post: “Making my boyfriend’s lunch for work.”

Despite the video appearing innocent, many TikTokers said that she had taken it too far by creating such childlike lunches for her boyfriend.

One commented: “Get him to pack it himself ffs.”

Another said: “It looks like an 8-year-old’s lunch.”

A third viewer asked: “Boyfriend or child?”

However, many defended Kiara’s efforts and said that it was a very sweet gesture on her part.

One person shared: “I make my husband lunch every day for him to take to work, I don’t have to make it, but I do as I love making his lunch and making sure he’s eating OK.”

While one bloke wrote: “My wife does this for me and honestly, it’s the best thing and I appreciate it.”

Following the overly harsh criticism, Kiara shared a second clip addressed to “all the Karens and the negative Nancys”. In this clip, she admitted that she’d forgotten to pack the wrap that she’d usually make her partner.

Defending herself, she added: “I make my partner’s lunch because I make my own at the same time so why not?

“At least then I know what he is eating and that he is eating quality food that is going to give him energy to last through the day because he works hard.

“He needs quality food not a chicken cheese sausage from the lunch bar. I mean they’re great but not practical.”

Similarly, a mum was slammed for the lunches she prepared for her kids. She shared a photo of their lunches online and they were deemed “unhealthy” by fellow parents as they included Nutella and honey pancakes.
