His House dropped on Netflix in 2020 but has found life again on the streaming service.
It follows a refugee couple who escape from war-torn Sudan and struggle to adjust to their new life in an English town that has evil lurking beneath its surface.
The film has a stellar cast, including Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Sope Dirisu (Gangs of London) and Wunmi Mosaku (Luther).
It also has a 73 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has received rave reviews from critics, who have praised it for portraying the horrors a refugee might feel.
Viewers have since taken to social media to react to the movie.
One person suggests: “This film is a MUST watch. I can’t recommend it enough.”
Another viewer writes: “I am in here literally screaming in broad daylight watching.”
Someone else comments: “I finally watched His House yesterday on Netflix and… first off it scared the hell out of me at certain points… second… I love Wunmi Mosaku, she is an excellent actress and I can’t wait to see her in more things.”
“Started watching His House not sure I can continue to watch, scared,” adds a fourth.
A fifth viewer says: “Just had to turn His House off because it scared me too much. I’ll finish it tomorrow in the daylight. Haven’t been that freaked out since The Babadook.”
While someone else admits that His House left them ‘shaking’ afterwards.
