Taylor Hawkins’ Toxicology Report Leaves Fans ‘Heartbroken’

Taylor Hawkins’ toxicology report has disclosed a shocking find following the star’s tragic death, aged just 50. 

According to CBS News, Colombia’s attorney general has reported that there were ’10 different substances’ in the Foo Fighters drummer’s system at the time of his passing on March 25.

It’s believed that a urine toxicology test uncovered marijuana, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, and benzodiazepines among the drugs in Hawkins’ system.

At the time of the musician’s death, Hawkins was reportedly staying in a hotel room in Bogotá, where he apparently also experienced ‘chest pain’.

It’s believed that health officials responded and attempted resuscitation manoeuvres to no avail.

Despite the findings, an exact cause of death has yet to be revealed.

The statement reportedly added: “The National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues to conduct the necessary medical studies to ascertain the cause of death.

“The Attorney General’s Office will continue to investigate and will duly inform the findings of forensic examinations in due time.”

Prior to Hawkins’ death, the Foo Fighters were set to perform at the Grammys on April 3. In the following month, they were expected to tour North America.

His heartbreaking passing was announced on Twitter by the rock group, which is made up of Dave Grohl, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee, and Pat Smear.

Their statement read: “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins.

“His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever.

“Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”
