A woman has discovered that her ex-boyfriend is very much alive after thinking he was dead for seven years.

The TikToker, who goes by the name @k.jewel5, claims that when she was just 14, she started a long-distance relationship with a guy from New York.

But after being together for just six months, the couple had a ‘big fight’ and ended up not speaking for three days.

The woman, who is now 20-years-old, revealed: “It turned out he was in the hospital because he got stabbed.

“He fell into a coma and then I got a call one day that he had died. That was six/seven years ago.”

Convinced he was dead for so long, the TikToker was gobsmacked when she then came across him on social media.

“Two days ago he posted a picture of him and his boyfriend,” she said.

After finding the photo, the woman admitted that she ‘cried’ after learning he had met someone else and had fallen in love. She added that they looked ‘so happy’ together.

But of course, what troubled her more was the fact she had been grieving over his loss for years.

Determined to find out answers, she decided to reach out and wrote: “I saw your story. Please answer. I loved you for seven years. Dave, please answer me.”

However, the TikToker’s ex has left the message on ‘open’ and has yet to give a reason for pretending to be dead for eight years.

So far, the woman’s clip has been viewed over 12.4 million times, with viewers left gobsmacked over the bizarre story.

One viewer remarked: “That took an unexpected turn.”

Another added: “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now…”

“He took the ghost mode to another level,” a third joked.
