The woman with the ‘world’s biggest cheeks’ has shared unrecognisable throwback pictures from before her extreme body modifications.

In recent years, facial fillers have become far more commonplace.

Cheek filler, in particular, is a procedure that is on the rise as the go-to treatment for sculpted cheekbones.

The nonsurgical cosmetic procedure ‘gives your cheeks a fuller, more defined look,’ per Cleveland Clinic. This is achieved by ‘safe substances called dermal fillers’ being injected ‘around and above your cheekbones.’

But while you may not even be able to notice who’s had a millilitre of filler here and there, certain people take their love of injectables to the extreme.

And one such heavily modified face is that of Anastasia Pokreshchuk.

The Ukrainian model is known as the woman with the ‘world’s biggest cheeks’.

She’s now shared an unrecognisable throwback snap of herself from before she started pursuing her controversial journey with filler…

Pokreshchuk began her filler journey in her twenties, and since then, she’s had countless procedures on her hugely inflated cheeks.

She also has veneers and breast implants and has had Botox injections in her forehead, according to the Mirror.

But it’s her extreme cheeks that have garnered Pokreshchuk the most attention.

She tells the New York Post: “I love them, I want them to look like this and I’m very happy. I regularly inject other parts of my face myself.

“I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind.”

Pokreshchuk has also opened up about the downsides of her polarising appearance.

She says: “I’ve had people tell me I am an ugly b**** and that I should kill myself but when I see it I just laugh it off and ignore it.”

And during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, Pokreshchuk shared: “I love this look. I was like a grey mouse. My nose was too big. And now I have big cheeks and big lips it looks OK.

“My mom thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse.”

Pokreshchuk has also hit back at trolls who criticise her extreme look.

She writes on Instagram: “I don’t understand this kind of thinking at all. I don’t understand how I can think about my appearance based on what others say.

“I don’t care what others say because this is my face and I have to like it, not you. This is my face and my life.”

She concludes: “You will not live my life for me, OK?”

“You may think that they are too big but I think that they’re a little bit small, I need to refresh them again soon,” she adds to the Sun.

“I love them, I want them to look like this and I’m very happy. I regularly inject other parts of my face myself,” Pokreshchuk tells Femail.

“I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind.”

Pokreshchuk has also shared that she’s had a dangerous Brazilian butt lift procedure, sharing: ”I wasn’t scared.

“Yes it’s the most dangerous surgery but it’s also the most popular one. Beauty is pain! You can die crossing the street!”

Now Pokreshchuk has shared a throwback picture of her natural face, leaving the internet shocked.

Pokreshchuk has taken to TikTok to share a video containing images of her before she began pursuing her ‘world’s biggest cheeks’ title.

And it seems as though many people were fans of her old, more subtle look.

“Omg your natural face is so beautiful,” one person comments.

Another says: “You were naturally very pretty.”

However, some viewers have disagreed with this and say they love Pokreshchuk’s more extreme look.

“Everyone has their own definition of beauty, not everyone can look this good with defined cheekbones,” one writes.

In agreement, a second comments: “You are one of a kind and unique!”

Pokreshchuk concludes to the Mail Online: “I get hate comments online all the time – no one has the confidence to say it in person.

“In real life, people want to hug me and take pictures with me. It’s so nice!”

She adds: “I don’t have people around me that judge me, but I don’t give a f*** what people think of me. My friends never judge me.

“My mother tells me that I looked beautiful before of course, but now she calls me “exotic”. She is my best friend and the best possible support I could ask for.'”
