Britney Spears’ judge has denied the star’s request to have her dad removed from her conservatorship.

The 39-year-old’s lawyer asked an LA court to have James Spears removed as her sole conservator, as she alleges she’s ‘afraid’ of her father.

In the leaked testimony to the court – via the phone – the singer also claimed she’d been forced to perform, had been drugged, and is being prevented from having children.

“I just want my life back,” Spears said during her 23-minute statement. “I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive… I’ve told the whole world [that] I’m okay and I’m happy. It’s a lie.”

She continued: “I thought just maybe [if] I said that enough, I might become happy because I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatised. You know, ‘fake it till you make it?’

“But now I’m telling you the truth, okay? I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m so angry, it’s insane. And I’m depressed. I cry every day, and the reason I’m telling you this is because I don’t think the state of California can have all this written in the court documents from the time I showed up and do absolutely nothing.

“My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management… they should be in jail.”

After hearing her testimony, Spears’ dad has reportedly said he’s ‘sorry’ to see his daughter ‘in so much pain’.

“He is sorry to see is daughter suffering and in so much pain,” his statement read. “Mr Spears loves his daughter very much.”
