A woman who has watched 1,000 horror movies has shared the ones that genuinely terrified her.
There have been a number of scary films that have left a lasting impression on viewers.
Films such as Terrifer 2 and Men caused audiences to leave the cinema because of how scary they were.
Now one horror enthusiast has shared her list of scary movies that petrified her.
Watch the trailer for the movie she says is the most terrifying below…
TikToker Macy, who is known by the username @Letswatchthat, uploaded a video where she shared some of the films that left a lasting impact on her.
She begins her list with the 1998 Japanese movie Ringu, which was the inspiration behind The Ring.
Mady recommends this movie if you enjoyed The Ring.
She then suggests The Orphanage, a Spanish supernatural horror movie from 2007, which she claimed ‘scared the absolute c***’ out of her.

The TikToker also recommends the 2015 found-footage film Hell House LCC, which she believes is a ‘really underrated’ movie.
Her next choice on this list is the Spanish film, REC – which inspired the 2008 movie Quarantine.
However, Mady believes the Spanish version is ‘far superior’ to its American counterpart.
She then picks arguably the most popular found-footage film of all time, The Blair Witch Project, as the one movie that really terrifies her.
Mady explains: “I don’t care what anyone says, this is always going to be the scariest movie I’ve ever seen.
“I grew up when people were made to feel like this was a real documentary and it sticks with you.”
People who have watched Mady’s video have reacted to her list while also offering their own recommendations.
One viewer says: “Blair Witch is def up there.”

Another person comments: “Hell House LLC got me it’s one I wish I could forget and go back and watch again.”
While a third adds: “Blair Witch is correct. I knew it wasn’t real footage but it still stayed in my head for days.”
Someone else recommends: “Highly recommend In The Tall Grass on Netflix. Starts off as a thriller but spirals out into straight-up scary.”
