A woman says that her upside-down pineapple tattoo was a big mistake after learning its true meaning.
Brittany Lewin is going viral on TikTok after realising her tattoo was a lot ruder than she thought.
The clip reveals a conversation with a friend that makes her do some further research into her ink.
Her friend suggests that she Google what her body art actually is, and when she does, she’s left very embarrassed.

The chat starts with her friend asking: “Is that an upside-down pineapple?”
She replies: “Hahaha, not when my arm is down.”
In response, her mate sends a ton of laughing emojis, adding: “It’s still gonna make me giggle.
“I only just found out what an upside-down pineapple tattoo actually means.”

“Wait, what??? Googling, haha,” she says.
In fact, an upside-down pineapple symbolises someone who is looking for a swingers’ party.
It also helps swingers identify each other.
According to Eye Spy Investigations, a pineapple placed on someone’s porch or mailbox also lets swingers know when a swingers’ party is taking place.
After finding out what her ink really means, Lewin shakes her head.

While the post itself is captioned: “I’ve made a mistake besties.”
Lewin’s post has been viewed more than 54,000 times and her followers have taken to the comments and reacted.
Reassuring her, one viewer says: “I thought it was a nice tattoo.”
Another adds: “Just embrace it!”
While a third person comments: “Hahaha, love this.”

In a follow-up post, Lewin explains that the triangle is her lucky symbol and that when she got the tattoo it was supposed to symbolise her being a ‘boss babe’.

The TikToker isn’t the only person to have found out the hidden meaning of an upside-down pineapple tattoo in a hilarious way.
Another woman has gone viral after saying she’s discovered the ink’s true meaning after buying some beach chairs and taking them to the seaside.
She says: “Upside down pineapple means swingers… I didn’t know til TikTok.
“I’m still using these chairs but just attracted some unwanted attention today.”
