Piers Morgan has slammed Alec Baldwin for celebrating Halloween in the wake of the shooting tragedy that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a series of snaps of the couple’s six children, alongside the caption: “Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least.
“Today, we rallied to give them a holiday. Last min costume, a little hodge-podge, but they were so happy and that warmed my mama heart.

“Happy Halloween, from the Baldwinitos. They give us love, we send you love.”
After seeing the post, the former GMB host took to Twitter and blasted Baldwin’s wife.
Alongside an article on the couple’s Halloween celebrations, he simply stated: “Appallingly insensitive.”
But Morgan wasn’t the only person to criticise the family’s decision on sharing Halloween photos.
One Twitter user commented: “The Baldwin kids should absolutely enjoy Halloween. This year, though, #hilariabaldwin should have kept their festivities (and herself) off social media.
“Halyna’s son didn’t get to enjoy this holiday. Celebrate without posting, Hillary. It’s literally the least you could do.”
Another added: “That’s nice that Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin can wear costumes, smile and celebrate Halloween. You know who is having a very sad Halloween? Andros Hutchins, the son of the woman Alec killed. Alec certainly does not look like he is suffering from PTSD.”
While other people on the platform defended the actor, writing: “Not really he’s probably suffering with horrendous PTSD but is trying to carry on for his young family. What’s he supposed to be doing?”
Someone else tweeted: “What’s he supposed to do ‘Sorry kids, no Halloween this year, daddy killed someone,’ his kids weren’t involved.”
Last month, Baldwin ‘accidentally discharged a prop gun‘ that reportedly shot and killed the 42-year-old cinematographer. Legal experts have since claimed that the actor could allegedly face ‘manslaughter charges’.
On Twitter, the Hollywood actor took to Twitter and release a statement.
Baldwin commented: “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother, and deeply admired colleague of ours.”
