Ed Sheeran has revealed that when he was younger, he questioned his sexuality.
In the Man Man Man podcast, the ‘Shivers’ singer opened up about his ‘feminine side’ and admitted he ‘thought he was gay for a bit’.
He explained: “I’m not a hugely masculine person anyway.

“I have a definite feminine side to the point where, when I was a kid, I thought I was gay for a bit.
“I definitely had a big feminine side. I love musical theatre, I love pop music, I love Britney Spears. My masculine side probably stops at drinking beer and watching football.”
Sheeran then went on to explain that he learned about female empowerment through his wife Cherry Seaborn, who he says is ‘super pro-woman,’ and his daughter, Lyra.
Referring to his wife, he continued: “As soon as we started dating my life kind of shifted to that.
“She plays in a female hockey team, we hang out with them all the time. It’s very much like women empowerment.
“She works a very high-level job where she’s the top of her field.
“Before Lyra was born it was kind of that but now Lyra is born it’s even more that.”
The 30-year-old’s comments come after he revealed that he’s collaborating with singer and friend, Elton John, for Christmas.
At the time of the announcement, John joked that Sheeran was ‘blabbing’ about their song on a Dutch radio station.
He said: “I was sworn to secrecy and then big mouth f***ing Sheeran goes to the Netherlands!
“It’s supposed to come out – we haven’t finished it yet, so there’s still work to be done.”
