Piers Morgan’s next job after quitting Good Morning Britain has been ‘revealed,’ as the ‘victim of cancel culture‘ who recently slammed Demi Lovato, is demanding a £2m salary, according to reports.

Fans of the outspoken host, who refused to apologise for comments he made about Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview, are convinced he is signing up to star on GB News.

However, journalist Alex Webb thinks the station would struggle to afford to pay him such an extortionate salary.

On Twitter, he argued: “Maybe @piersmorgan would help GB News reach a massive audience, but his £2million paycheque would take a huge chunk out of the station’s tightly managed budget.”

Morgan then replied, writing: “It would take a much bigger chunk than that…. (said ‘sources close to Morgan’).”

The TV presenter made headlines last month when he claimed he didn’t ‘believe a word’ the Duchess of Sussex said about feeling suicidal in the Royal Family.

At the time, she said: “Look, I was really ashamed to have to say at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially. But I knew that if I didn’t say that I would do it.

“I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”

However, Morgan has insisted her claims were a lie.

This then led to a heated argument with Alex Beresford, which resulted in him storming offset.

Following his exit from the daytime show he has refused to apologise, insisting ‘freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on‘.

Recently, he appeared on Fox News and told Tucker Carlson that there were ‘17 untruths’ in the Duke and Duchess’ interview.

He said the couple had made ‘completely untrue or massively exaggerated, or unprovable’ allegations.
