TikTok star Remi Bader has claimed a ‘ranch wouldn’t let her ride a horse due to her weight’.
The influencer, from New York, went viral on the social media platform after explaining what had allegedly happened at the Deep Hollow site.
In a video of the location, she wrote: “Shoutout to Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk for making me leave because I weigh over 240.”
She went on to add: “I’ve ridden horses before and have never had this issue. Please advertise this on your signs for the future.”
In the comments, Bader went on to clarify that she felt ’embarrassed’ by the situation because she believed the rule hadn’t been ‘advertised’ clearly.
So far, the TikTok star’s post has garnered a whopping 1.8million views and thousands have taken to the comments and defended the woman.
One viewer said: “The way I would have walked right out with you has me so angry that people just stayed?!? Who are these people?!”
“It’s very clear Remi understands why she wasn’t allowed to go on but it could have been handled differently by the staff/business,” a second commented.
Another added: “I’ve been there and understand how this feels. I also would have walked out with you!”
I’ve rode horses before and have never had this issue. Please adverise this on your signs for the future.
Others took to the comments and defended the ranch, arguing that the TikToker should have ‘rang up’ and checked.
“It is called common sense it shouldn’t have to be spelt out on a sign,” one argued.
Agreeing with this, another added: “You should’ve checked the website sis, the ranch [is] just doing its job.”
“It ain’t their fault,” a third commented. “You should have called beforehand.”
