According to BuzzFeed, it all started when a person wrote in a now-deleted post: “Halle Berry is nearly 60 playing the role of a 16-year-old girl.
“This is what happens when you upset a fandom.”

Hilariously, Berry took to the social media platform and replied with an image of comedian Monique sitting down and looking particularly unimpressed.
Despite not saying anything, the American actress made her feelings clear and since being uploaded, the post has garnered over 23,000 retweets and more than 177,000 likes.
Although Berry plays no part in the upcoming live-action movie, she appears to be just as excited as everyone else and has responded to the recent trailer drop.
She tweeted to Bailey: “This means so much! Can’t wait @HalleBailey.”
Many took to the comments of Berry’s post and agreed that the film looks like it’s going to be ‘iconic’.
“Queens supporting queens,” one gushed.
Another added: “My kids are looking forward to seeing it.”
“It looks so iconic, I can’t wait!” someone else said.
A fourth mused: “How dope would it be if she won an Oscar for this and you gave her the Oscar?”
It reads: “Guys.. today has been so overwhelming and incredible I’m so happy you’re getting to see a peek of everything thank you for the love…”
